bool mosaic::fits_path_budget(const QString &recordDir, const QString &folderName)

Whether recordDir + ‘/’ + folderName leaves a plugin room to write inside the resulting session. Checked before a recording starts, so an over-long combination fails while it is still just text in a field — rather than hours later, when an analysis plugin cannot create its output file.
